Our P&L Checklists are based on the date a set of regulations went into effect. This is referred to as the Effective Date of those regulations and it is displayed on every checklist. Generally, all checklists in a package have the same Effective Date. In some instances, an agency will issue a bulletin or an emergency regulation that impacts only certain checklists. When we update the impacted checklists, we will update the Effective Date and Last Updated date accordingly.
The Last Updated date is highlighted yellow when the checklist was updated within the past 30 days. Generally, updates occur when the regulations change, but we do on occasion make updates unrelated to the regulations. For example, when a readability improvement is made at the suggestion of a user.
