Clients think and act differently than customers; we should think and act accordingly. It will make us a stronger company.
We now have three solid months of data since the pivot, so it’s time to take a hard look at our performance. One of our primary conclusions is that marijuana businesses in Colorado are a tough sell.
Our pivot is primarily driven by the realization that 64% of the Colorado market (businesses with one location) would likely remain out of reach under our old pricing structure. If we want to grab meaningful market share among these single-location businesses, we need to have a more affordable entry point. It really is that simple.
